Dear Dr. DeClaire,
I’m sure you don’t remember me, but you did my right knee replacement in 2003 and my left in 2006. I came to you initially because of a tiny newspaper article that said you were one of 3 doctors approved to do a partial knee replacement for those people who were told they were too young (I was 50 years old) for total knee replacements. Unfortunately, the outside of my knee was too damaged for the partial, so you did a total. You saved my life.
I’m still going strong. Hiking and horseback riding until my back gave out – but I will never forget the freedom you gave me with my new knees.
Hopefully, I’m good for another 10 or 20 years.
